Lava Lamp

Switch your brain off for a minute. A mesmerizing lava lamp — gooey blobs slowly rise, split and merge in warm glowing glass. Pick from four color themes and just… watch.

How to use it

Press Start and give it a moment to "warm up" — the blobs slowly begin to rise, stretch, break apart and merge, exactly like a real lava lamp finding its rhythm. Switch the color between classic red, lagoon blue, grape and sunset, and flick on the optional low hum if you like a touch of retro electrical ambience. Then just let it run and unwind.

100% on your device. The blobs are a real-time metaball simulation drawn on canvas — no video, no images, no files. Nothing is uploaded, and it works offline once loaded.

Oddly hypnotic — and good for focus

Slow, unpredictable motion is a gentle anchor for a wandering mind. Keep the lamp in a corner of your screen during deep work or a break; because it's a live simulation, no two minutes ever look the same.

Frequently asked questions

Why does it take a moment to get going?

Just like a real lava lamp, it starts slow and warms up. Give it 20-30 seconds and the blobs really start moving.

Can I change the color?

Yes — pick from classic red, lagoon blue, grape or sunset with the Color dropdown.

Is there sound?

Optional. Toggle a faint retro electrical hum with the speaker button; it's off by default.

Does it use a video or image?

No. The blobs are a live metaball simulation drawn with canvas, so nothing is downloaded or uploaded.
