Virtual Aquarium

Take a breath and watch the fish. A calming virtual aquarium with drifting bubbles, swaying plants and soft water sounds — click the water to feed the fish and watch them dart after the flakes.

How to use it

Press Start to bring the tank to life. Colorful fish glide back and forth among swaying plants while bubbles rise from the gravel and soft water sounds hum along. Click anywhere in the water (or press Feed the fish) to drop a pinch of flakes — the fish will notice and chase them down. Mute the sound any time with the speaker button.

100% on your device. The whole tank — fish, bubbles, plants and the gentle water sounds — is drawn and synthesized live in your browser. No video, no audio files, nothing uploaded. Great as a calm second-monitor screensaver.

A little tank that never repeats

Every fish picks its own path, speed and depth, so the scene is different every time you look. Feed them and they break formation to hunt; leave them be and they settle into a slow, hypnotic drift. It's a tiny moment of calm you can keep open in a tab.

Frequently asked questions

How do I feed the fish?

Click or tap anywhere in the water, or press Feed the fish. Flakes drift down and the fish swim over to eat them.

Is there sound?

Yes — a soft filter hum and occasional bubble blips, synthesized live. Toggle it with the speaker button or set the volume with the slider.

Does it use video?

No. Everything is drawn with canvas and the sound is generated with the Web Audio API, so nothing is streamed or downloaded.

Is anything uploaded?

Never. The aquarium runs entirely on your device.
