How it works (and why there's no upload)
Most "online video compressors" upload your file to their servers, queue it, compress it there, and make you download the result — slow for big files, and your video sits on someone else's machine. This tool instead uses your browser's built-in encoder: it works out the exact video bitrate that fits your target size (target size ÷ clip length, minus audio), picks a sensible resolution, re-encodes the clip on your own hardware, and verifies the result — automatically running a tighter second pass if the first lands over the limit.

- Compress and download. A 60-second clip takes about a minute. Keep the tab visible while it runs.
Getting the best quality at 10 MB
- Trim first. Bitrate = size ÷ seconds, so a 15-second highlight looks four times better than the full minute.
- Drop the audio if it doesn't matter — that's ~12% more bits for the picture at 10 MB.
- Don't over-compress. If you have Nitro or the server is boosted, use the bigger preset.
- 1080p isn't sacred. A clean 720p beats a smeary 1080p at the same file size every time — the tool picks this for you.
